Different Cannabinoids

• THCA: THCA, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a cannabinoid found in raw and live cannabis plants. It is the precursor to THC, or delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, which is the psychoactive compound responsible for the “high” associated with cannabis consumption.
• THC: Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, commonly known as Delta-9 THC or simply THC, is the primary psychoactive compound responsible for the “high” or euphoric effects associated with cannabis use.
• Delta 8 THC: Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol, commonly known as Delta-8 THC or simply Delta-8, is a psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant. Delta-8 THC is reported to have psychoactive effects, similar to Delta-9 THC, but it is generally considered to be less potent. Users describe its effects as a milder, more clear-headed high with less anxiety and paranoia compared to Delta-9 THC.
• HHC: HHC, or Hexahydrocannabinol, is a lesser-known cannabinoid that is structurally similar to Delta-9 THC, the psychoactive component of cannabis. Like THC, HHC binds to the CB1 receptors in the brain, leading to its psychoactive effects. However, it is important to note that HHC is not THC, and its effects may be slightly different.
• CBD: CBD is one of the many cannabinoids found in cannabis plants and is known for its potential to interact with the endocannabinoid system in the human body, which plays a role in regulating various physiological functions. People use CBD products, including CBD flower, for a variety of reasons, such as pain management, anxiety relief, and relaxation, without experiencing the “high” associated with THC.
• CBG: CBG stands for cannabigerol, which is one of the many cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. CBG is considered a minor cannabinoid because it is usually found in lower concentrations compared to more well-known cannabinoids like THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol).
• CBN: CBN, or cannabinol, is one of the many cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. It is a mildly psychoactive compound that is known to be a degradation product of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the more well-known psychoactive cannabinoid. As THC ages or is exposed to oxygen and heat, it converts into CBN.
• THCV: THCV, or tetrahydrocannabivarin, is one of the many cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. It is similar in molecular structure to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), which is the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis, but it has different effects and properties. It’s important to note that research on cannabinoids is still in its early stages, and the effects of THCV can vary from person to person.
