THCA: The Precursor Cannabinoid To THC

THCA, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a cannabinoid found in raw and live cannabis plants. It is the precursor to THC, or delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, which is the psychoactive compound responsible for the “high” associated with cannabis consumption.
